Write a Thank You card!
If you’re leaving an internship, freelance or temp position, it’s a good idea to write a thank you card. Buy a thank you card and hand write a note to your supervisor. Handwriting the note will show your effort. It means a lot more than a simple e-mail, that’s too easy. Just keep it as short and simple as you want. Thank them for the opportunity. It’s a great way to not only show your appreciation but to also stand out and have them remember you.
